VR titles will be entering the market through a number of different channels. From gaming enthusiasts with desktop rigs, to console owners and theme park enthusiasts, each will be interacting with the virtual in their own way. Today, one of the largest consumer populations exists on mobile platforms. Major strides have been made in the space since this September 2014 MIT Technology Review article on the subject.
At Immersive Entertainment, we want to allow as many consumers to experience our software as possible. Most recently, we targeted to YouTube's 360 platform to provide a sample of our Grand Canyon Experience prototype. This is an early unfinished demonstration, but illustrates just one way in which consumers might gain access to our content.
IMPORTANT: While you can "view" the video in your browser, the best effect is obtained on a mobile phone enabled for cardboard or VR 360.
